How do I identify my Toyota RAV4's year and series?
Start with the overall shape rather than the registration year, because several RAV4 changeover years appear in two options.
The 2026 XA60 has Toyota's newer hammerhead-style nose, a slim daytime-running-light strip and RAV4 lettering centred across the tailgate. The 2019–2025 XA50 is sharply creased and angular, with chunky squared wheel-arch cladding. The 2013–2019 XA40 has softer, rounder body sides, which makes it easy to tell from the harder-edged XA50. The 2006–2013 XA30 is easy to spot by its side-hinged rear door and external spare wheel, while the smaller 2000–2006 XA20 has rounded wheel-arch flares and a more compact shape.

Which Toyota RAV4 years do these shades fit?
The options are 2026 (XA60), 2019–2025 (XA50), 2013–2019 (XA40), 2006–2013 (XA30) and 2000–2006 (XA20). Choose the option for your RAV4 series. Years such as 2006, 2013 and 2019 overlap because the model changed during that period. If yours falls on a boundary, confirm the series as well as the year before selecting your set.
My RAV4 has tinted rear windows. Will shades still help?
Yes. Tint softens the light, but low afternoon sun can still hit the back seat hard. RAV4 magnetic shades add a fitted screen over the rear door glass, helping cut glare, add privacy and block more UV around passengers. They're easy to remove when you want the windows open to the light again. Privacy glass varies by RAV4 grade and year, so order by XA series rather than tint darkness.
Are the small windows behind the RAV4's rear doors covered?
The rear door pair covers the two windows in the RAV4's back doors. The smaller side windows behind them, beside the boot, use Toyota RAV4 Side Port Window Shades. Think of side port shades as the extra pair for those little rear-most windows. They are worth adding when sunlight reaches a child seat from behind the door window.
Do these shades fit the RAV4 Hybrid and plug-in hybrid?
Choose by RAV4 generation rather than petrol, hybrid or plug-in hybrid badge. The engine type does not require a separate choice on this listing. For example, an XA50 Hybrid uses the XA50 option, while an XA60 uses the 2026 (XA60) option. This keeps your order matched to the body rather than the type of engine.
I've taken delivery of a 2026 RAV4. Which shade set should I choose?
Check whether your car is an XA60 or an outgoing XA50. A 2026 delivery date does not necessarily mean a new-generation body. Select 2026 (XA60) for an XA60, or 2019–2025 (XA50) for an XA50. Your vehicle paperwork or Toyota dealer can confirm the series if the delivery year leaves you unsure.
Does the RAV4 come with rear door blinds?
RAV4 rear privacy glass and the retractable boot cover are different from rear door blinds. The boot cover hides luggage; it doesn't shade the passenger windows. Our magnetic rear window shades add removable coverage at the rear doors and fit inside the car, using the window frame and supplied mounting clips where needed.
Can I use RAV4 shades in a Lexus NX or Toyota Kluger?
Order the set listed for your vehicle: Lexus NX shades for an NX, and Toyota Kluger shades for a Kluger. Although these models share some engineering with the RAV4, that doesn't establish a matching shade fit. What are the differences between Toyota RAV4 generations?
2026 (XA60) and 2019–2025 (XA50)
The XA60 is the newer RAV4 generation and has its own selection on this page. The XA50 introduced the more angular RAV4 shape and brought hybrid power to the Australian range. Choose the series shown in your vehicle details, particularly if you took delivery around the generation change.
2013–2019 (XA40) and 2006–2013 (XA30)
The XA40 has a rounder body and a conventional lift-up tailgate. The earlier XA30 is easily recognised by the spare wheel mounted on its rear door. These are separate options, even though both can appear with a 2013 year.
2000–2006 (XA20)
The XA20 is the older RAV4 shape covered by this listing. Check the series carefully for a 2006 car, when the XA20 and XA30 ranges meet.

After ordering I read some of the negative reviews on here and thought to myself that I’ve probably made a mistake ordering these. Shades finally arrived, taking a bit longer than expected as they were dropped shipped out of China (which wasn’t obvious when ordering). That aside they appeared to be reasonably good quality and even better, they fitted perfectly! I don’t understand the negative reviews of poor fit, etc.. but can only conclude that there are a lot of people that can’t follow simple instructions as to how to instal or are just a bit challenged. Either way, they are a great product and fit the Touareg perfectly at a reasonable price.

Does not fit properly in the window - you have to slam them in the door to even try to keep them in place! Trying to organise a refund for this faulty product but they are refusing because I have asked for this refund after 14 days of purchase. I have been trying to chase up a total refund of my whole order as it was only partially delivered within a week of my original order and I started this process 5 weeks ago. I sent multiple emails over the last 5 weeks that were ignored and only got the refund for the non-delivered parts 3 hours after I left an accurate and bad review and final email.
Side windows and port windows fit well and look great. Rear window not as good a fit… and no directions given or included on how to attach clips to ensure a secure fit.
